Step 1

Location Selection

Choosing the optimal location for your Kaidu scanner is crucial. By positioning it strategically, the scanner can effectively capture all pertinent signals and maintain robust connections via WiFi or LTE. Additionally, it should be situated in a manner that minimizes the risk of tampering and accidental damage, ensuring reliable performance and longevity.

Step 2

Power Selection

The Kaidu Scanner is designed to operate on both AC and DC power. It includes AC adapters compatible with various international plug types. Additionally, the scanner can be powered by a 5V USB source. This DC power port allows for battery operation, providing flexibility in locations where AC power is not readily available or conveniently accessible.

Step 3

Network Connectivity

Kaidu Scanners need an internet connection to operate effectively. This connection is essential for device configuration and data upload to our cloud servers. The scanners are compatible with a 2.4GHz WiFi network without a captive portal or an LTE hotspot that supports 2.4GHz WiFi connectivity. Ensure that one of these options is available at your intended installation site. If the signal quality is poor, the scanner may not function reliably.

Step 3

Download APP and connect

Kaidu Scanners can be conveniently configured using our user-friendly mobile app, available for both iOS and Android devices. Simply download the app and follow the on-screen instructions. Detailed steps are provided in the link below.
