Go to the App Store.

Download the latest version of the "Kaidu Config Application".

Open the application.

If the application isn't scanning, press the 'Scan' button to initiate the process.

If your scanner doesn't appear on the list, approach the scanner and press the button on the top of the scanner for 3 seconds, then release it (the LED will blink white).

If the scanner still isn't visible, repeat the second step a few times.

If the issue persists, reset the scanner by unplugging it from the power source for 10 seconds, then restart from the first step.

Open the application.

Allow the application to use location while the application is being used.

Location permission is needed for the application to access Bluetooth functions.

If the scanner is advertising you will see it listed on the screen.

The scanner's colour on the application or the LED on the scanner will tell you if it is connected or not.
Green - Scanner is connected
Blue - Scanner is trying to connect
Red - Scanner has issues

On the list of Wi-Fi SSIDs, you can simply select one from the list, enter the password and press the Confirm button on the next screen.

Or if f you do not see your WiFi on the list you can press the refresh icon on the top right of the screen.

If you prefer you can also enter your SSID manually by clicking Other.

Please note that only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks are supported. Take care to avoid making any typos, SSID and passwords are case-sensitive.

Click on the displayed scanner to set up the Wi-Fi settings. (The LED on the connected scanner will turn solid BLUE to indicate it is connected to the app)

Click on the arrow beside the Wi-Fi to select your SSID or enter your SSID details. And then click on Confirm.

If you do not wish to change the Wi-Fi setting displayed, close the application or click on confirm.

Once you press confirm the scanner will reboot and attempt to connect to the network. If successful the LED on the scanner will turn GREEN. (Be patient this might take a few seconds)
